Welcome to ECJ Cleaning & Construction Services, LLC. These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between ECJ Cleaning & Construction Services ("the Company," "we," "us") and the client ("you"). By booking our services, you agree to the following terms:
1. Scope of Services
ECJ Cleaning & Construction Services provides professional residential and commercial cleaning, HOA property maintenance, post-construction cleanup, yacht cleaning, and home improvement services. The specific tasks to be performed are outlined in your service estimate or booking confirmation.
2. Pricing and Estimates
- Estimates: All quotes provided via phone or email are preliminary estimates based on the information provided by the client.
- Adjustments: We reserve the right to adjust the final price if the actual condition of the property requires significantly more time or specialized resources than initially quoted.
- Minimum Charges: Certain services may be subject to a minimum service fee.
3. Payment Terms
- Payment Due: Payment is due in full upon completion of the service unless prior written arrangements have been made.
- Late Fees: Overdue accounts may be subject to a late payment fee.
- Accepted Methods: We accept major credit cards, electronic transfers, and other pre-approved payment methods.
4. Cancellation and Rescheduling
- Notice Period: We require at least 24 to 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling requests.
- Cancellation Fee: Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a fee of 50% of the service cost.
- Lock-outs: If our team cannot access the property at the scheduled time (e.g., forgotten keys, incorrect codes), a lock-out fee will apply.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you are not satisfied with any area of our service, please contact us within 24 hours. We will return to re-clean the area in question at no additional charge. Please note that we do not offer refunds; our guarantee is limited to corrective cleaning.
6. Client Responsibilities
To provide the best possible service, we ask that you:
- Ensure utilities (electricity and running water) are turned on and functional.
- Provide safe and clear access to the property.
- Secure all pets and pick up any personal clutter (toys, clothing, jewelry) prior to our arrival.
- Alert us to any fragile items or pre-existing damage.
7. Liability and Insurance
- Bonded and Insured: ECJ is fully bonded and insured.
- Damage Claims: Any claims for damage must be reported within 24 hours of service.
- Limitations: We are not liable for damage resulting from "wear and tear," old/faulty fixtures, or items that were not properly secured.
8. Employee Solicitation
Clients agree not to hire, solicit, or contract any ECJ employees or former employees for services outside of our company for a period of 12 months following the last date of service. A referral/placement fee may apply if this term is breached.
9. Privacy and Discretion
We value the privacy of our clients, particularly our UHNWI and HNWI partners. All staff are trained in discretion. Your personal information and property details will never be shared with third parties, except as required for service delivery or by law.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the District of Columbia.
